About ClickerTest

100% Private

All key detection happens in your browser using the JavaScript KeyboardEvent API. No data is ever transmitted to any server.

Works Offline

Once loaded, the tester works fully offline. No network connection is required for key detection or compatibility lookups.

Browser Limitations

Some browsers block certain multimedia keys (Volume, Mute) by default. For the most complete detection, use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Plug & Play

Most USB and Bluetooth clickers register as standard HID keyboards. Simply plug in or pair your device, then press any button here.

Open Source

ClickerTest is open source and built with plain PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — no frameworks or build tools required.

Future Features

Planned additions include WebHID support, latency testing, saved sessions, device database, and a presentation simulator.
